International Sikh Youth Speech Symposium organized by SYANA 2017
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
The enthusiastic young Kaurs & Singhs of Tampa Gurdwara participated in the prestigious International Sikh Youth Symposium (#syana2017) organized by Sikh Youth Alliance of North America (#syana). The local-leg of the symposium was held in Tampa, FL in Apr 2, 2017 and the regional-leg was held in Atlanta, Georgia on May 27, 2017. Our young speakers performed exceedingly well in these events. The winners of Regional-symposium qualified to participate in a pool of around 70 International winners.
The International Symposium (#IntlSYS2017) was held between Aug 3-Aug 6, 2017 at Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar, Duncan, South Carolina. The participants were divided into four age-based groups. The competition was tough, the participants were spectacular and the performances were spellbinding! In the International-leg of the event, Gurmastak Singh (group 3) from Tampa, received the Distinguished Speaker along with Punjabi Speaking award.
